Working At Heights training course
Who is this course suitable for?
All personnel who need to work at heights. This includes any work carried out off or below the ground.
Course Objectives
To provide delegates with sufficient information for them to understand the hazards associated with working at heights and to have effective safe systems of work in place that comply with Health and Safety regulations.
During the course, the following elements will be covered.
- Have an understanding of the current regulations
- The course will be tailored to their particular needs, i.e. ladder safety, mobile elevating platforms, tower scaffold and use of harnesses
- Use of Personnel Protective Equipment
- Safe systems of work
- Selecting the right equipment
- Obligations of employers and employees in height safety
- Risk assessment
- Participants will carry out practical work relevant to equipment being used on the course
- Practical training and test
- Theory test
This course can be carried out at your premises or at Milne Safety for up to 10 delegates.
