SPA Petrol Retail Passport training course
Who is this course for?
Contractors who work on a Petrol Forecourt. This course will help to build on the basic Health and Safety information of the Core Day Programme by concentrating on risks specifically found with working in a Petrol Filling Station.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course the contractors will
- Demonstrate their understanding of the subjects by successfully completing each module assessment paper
- Appreciate how they personally can influence good standards with Health, Safety and Environment
- Understand the value of risk assessment and have the knowledge to recognise when changes to a generic assessment is required
- Understand the common hazards associated with working in this sector
Course Objectives
To understand the particular risks of working on forecourts by recognising all the hazards, selecting the appropriate control measures, using safe working practices, establishing and maintaining a safe environment.
