All persons using ladders and stepladders.

Course Objectives
To give delegates the knowledge to carry out an inspection and to be able to safely use ladders and steps in the workplace. The course will also teach the delegates to know when it is safe and isn't safe to use a ladder and to know the Health and Safety regulations in the safe use of ladders.
During the course, the following elements will be covered.
- Hazards associated with working on ladders
- Hazards associated with working on steps
- Ladder and steps pre-use check
- Risk Assessment
- Suitable control measures to put into place when working at height
We can include the 'safe use of harnesses' within this training course if required.
This half day course can be carried out at your premises or at Milne Safety for up to 6 delegates.
