First Aid at Work Re-qualification
Who is this course suitable for?
Employees who need to renew a valid First Aid At Work Certificate. To ensure that the delegates have a broad knowledge of First Aid and are competent at treating casualties. This certificate lasts for 3 years.
Important Information
Students are required to renew their certificate up to 3 months prior to expiry or no more than 28 days beyond expiry. Students whose certificate is out of date will not be accepted and will have to retake the full 3 day First Aid At Work course.
Course Objectives
For a delegate to understand the role of a First Aider and to feel confident when using their new skills
During the course, the following elements will be covered:
- Priorities of First Aid
- CPR
- The unconscious casualty
- Dealing with bleeding and shock
- Burns and scalds
- Eye injuries
- Poisoning
- Infection control
- Record keeping and accident reporting
- Final assessment
This course can be conducted for a company at your premises or at Milne Safety for up to 10 delegates.
