Persons who have a First Aid certificate or have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at their place of work. Also anyone who may have access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) but have had no formal training on how to use it.
More and more AED's are being placed out in the community now. You will see them in village halls, supermarkets, leisure centres, shopping precincts and even on industrial estates.
To understand the importance of saving a life – including how to conduct Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, placing the casualty in the Recovery Position and the correct use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
